For the Intensive course, students take all four parts of the review, and then sit for all four parts of the CPA Exam within two weeks to a month after the course ends.

Educational experts from the various state CPA societies recommend a self-study program involving 450-550 hours. The Becker CPA Review Intensive Course is 104 class hours and involves an additional 90-175 hours of assigned homework. We consider this the minimum number of hours to give our students “in class” reinforcement to assure adequate examination coverage. This chart shows the breakdown:

The Intensive course day is planned so that students can devote all of their attention to learning with no normal everyday distractions.

The schedule below represents a typical day in the Financial Accounting and Reporting course. Each daily class is four hours in length, usually split into morning and afternoon sessions. In the evening, students participate in instructor-supervised study periods for assistance with homework assignments, designed to help retain content more readily.
